Having a wedding is something that I required from my boyfriend since my principles involve wedding vows before we can actually move in together. I told him that it was something I can never go against, coming from a conservative family. He respected my decision, and a few months later I was surprised when he proposed to me. It seemed that he really wanted to go the distance with me.
He then discussed that since he is still about to finish his residency, we would have to work with a budget for the wedding. I had no problems with it and immediately worked with what he had to make that wedding possible. My sisters and I worked resourcefully to get discount bridal veils, gowns and all other essentials for the wedding. His parents also contributed a hefty sum for our reception and honeymoon. Everything is coming too fast and I could not believe all the things I needed on my list are being crossed off one after the other.
